2013 wiper blades
I am replacing the wiper blades on my 2013. The driver side was no problem but how do you get the passenger side wiper arm off the windshield enough to replace blade.

Pop the little plastic cover off where the arm attaches to the shaft at the base of the windshield. There is a small slit in it that faces the drivers side of the car. It is easier to see the slit in real good light. Use a small flat bladed screwdriver and go slowly. I work one side up and then the other. The nut holding the arm to the shaft is 15mm. Every time I work on the car it seems I end up adding odd size sockets to my collection.

The passenger side blade comes off the arm just like the driver side, but it's harder to do because you can only lift the blade a few inches off the glass.
No need to remove the entire arm. I find something soft, like a rolled up rag, to hold the passenger side arm off the glass a few inches, the slide the blade assembly off the arm like I did the driver side.
I replace the blades each year, and always have to spend a couple of minutes remembering how I did it last time.

Well, I've been doing it that way for 7 years without any problem, and I consider myself something of a klutz. The Corvette tech at our dealership dies it that way also.

It can be done but it can be a struggle. Some it seems lift easier than others. The one on my '07 was no issue. The '11 and '12 not so ...... Thus, the purchase of the correct size socket to change out the right side blade.

Yep, and you can lift both wipers on the C5 corvettes as well........was disappointed to learn that lifting and locking the passenger side wiper off the glass is not possible on the C6.......makes it more difficult to easily clean the windshield as well.

I'm sure that many would wonder why I have a stubby 15mm combo wrench and a small flat blade screwdriver in one of the cubby's. If I should have to change blades while I'm on a road trip ................
