Just got back from Scottsdale AZ Sat. Drove the Vette for errands(70+during daytime hrs) and the first thing I saw was ice possible on the dic. nice reminder to be carefull. Be careful and enjoy the ride
Message is there to get you to put the car back in the garage! Wait till you get the "Rain, run for cover" message! never seen msg in my '08 and it was 13 this morning as I headed up through east Tx.
I live in S Florida, and when the big cold front hit our area, I started my car and DIC had this message, in all years I owned it never saw this till now.
When the "ICE POSSIBLE" text appears, does the display at the same time also show the outside temperature?
No, the outside temperature will be shown on your climate control display in the center.
With this system you can control the heating, cooling and ventilation for your vehicle.
When your vehicle is first started, the display will show the driver’s temperature setting, the outside temperature, the fan speed and the air delivery, for about 10 seconds.
The outside temperature is shown in the center of the display. The digital display will show the readings
in Fahrenheit or Celsius. See “Personal Options” under DIC Vehicle Personalization on page 3-67 for information on changing your display.
