Ice possible in DIC message

I think you can interpret that message literally. Although I'm pretty sure they left the "on the road" part of the message out.

However, if it was me, I'd just pin it!

Just got back from Scottsdale AZ Sat. Drove the Vette for errands(70+during daytime hrs) and the first thing I saw was ice possible on the dic. nice reminder to be carefull. Be careful and enjoy the ride

Message is there to get you to put the car back in the garage! Wait till you get the "Rain, run for cover" message! never seen msg in my '08 and it was 13 this morning as I headed up through east Tx.

It means you are hurting your car and should put it away.

Really it comes on at 36deg F for a moment for those who didn't get past grade school science.

I live in S Florida, and when the big cold front hit our area, I started my car and DIC had this message, in all years I owned it never saw this till now.

No, the outside temperature will be shown on your climate control display in the center.

With this system you can control the heating, cooling and ventilation for your vehicle.

When your vehicle is first started, the display will show the driver’s temperature setting, the outside temperature, the fan speed and the air delivery, for about 10 seconds.





The outside temperature is shown in the center of the display. The digital display will show the readings
in Fahrenheit or Celsius. See “Personal Options” under
DIC Vehicle Personalization on page 3-67 for information on changing your display.
