I promise to drive my 2009 Vert at every opportunity except when raining, starting today 13 degrees but sunny. Why save a car for someone else if you enjoy it. No matter how much I think I can get back for a low mileage Vet it won't make up for the joy of a good ride. Take the good feeling TODAY!

There is more of us than you think. I think that is why they call me a Michiganiac. I have pushed snow in front of mine many times.

I drive mine in the rain, easy to clean it you hose out the wheel wells when they are still wet. I will not take the car out if clean for no reason, Corvette Club meeting is a good reason to drive though. I don't take regular driver out either if the other car is dirty. I also will drive on dry winter encrusted roads, more careful not to get caught in rain and get that slop on the car. As you said; why save it.

If that's the case, why is the rain going to bother you? I assure you that the salt that you get on the car driving it in the winter will do far more damage than rain. Don't get me wrong, I say good on you for driving your car but keeping it out of the rain seems silly.
