Default Top speed headers from eBay

I purchased a set of these headers and x pipe from eBay for 359.00 to my door. I just was curious to se what was up...for that kind of money they can not be much to them. We'll I was wrong. They look very nice and I was very shocked. They look like kooks replicas . They went on the car. With out any problems. I guess time will tell what's up.. I would not be afraid to get some more as of now though.. I just wanted to put this out there fore all who are wondering or have seen them and thought they were junk...

They look just like my Ebay "Mirage" headers.

I don't know how they compare, but American Racing, Kooks, LG, all of the popular brands are close to $2k. Good luck with them.

im not sure the item number but if you put in z06 headers they come up with in the first few post...they also are 1 7-8 size and x pipe is 3 inch mine looked very nice... im not saying they will be the best thing ever because I know you get what you pay for but for that kind of savings I gave it a shot and am happy so far... they also have a great warranty and you can call top speed and they will give you all the info... there tech told me that they copied a set of kooks and moved the 02 bung .5 inch...

I checked the headers out on Ebay sold by Top Speed. They look exactly like mine.

Top speed specs. on ebay are:
44mm pipe size = 1.73 inches or let's round it up to 1.75" (1 3/4")
76mm collector/X-pipe size = 2.99 inches or round it up to 3".

Jzolman, it looks like they "lied" to you about being 1.875" (1 7/8") but 1 3/4" headers perform better anyway IMHO. OH, and can we say "Made in China"

Edit: If interested check the last page of the "link" in my first post for the last "performance update" which I just added.

Mine was not that bad at all...but they also was not as good as your finished product...it's easier for some to buy a cheaper header and work a little at home on them, for others that have the cash you can not go wrong with the USA ones. Either way I wanted to give my experience ,

In CA it is a big deal now, but, trust me, it will be a big deal all over the country in the next 10 years.

Technically, moving the converters violates the law no matter what state you are in, but most states don't enforce it, that will change.

I have these on my car. They told me what i was in for. I moved the bungs and the install wasn't to bad. Payed less than 300 and the car runs great. didn't end up using the x pipe just using stock for now.

300.00 headers make the same power. My car seems to run well.
