Of course....the C6 Z06 was and still is a world class super car with phenomenal performance capabilities.. After the release of a SC version of a track Vette...the C6Z is definitely the last true NA performance Vette. The Z06 name alone is even more special than ever especially since the reveal.

I think the C7Z looks better than the C7 stingray but neither of them make me want to buy one . Don't get me wrong I think they are cool. To me the stingray is like the transformer edition and the Z is the Hot Wheels edition with all the aero stuff on it. Really cool to look at just wouldn't want to buy one. I just like the looks of the C6 and the motor of the C6 Z06.
I don't care for the complicated lifter setup that comes with the cylinder deactivation on the C7s

Z06 *&* ZR1 will always be very special in Corvette history & those who drive one (any model year) know why.
While the C7Z looks great and undoubtably go like snot (does it have cyl deactivation?
) it's going to be at least a year, if not 2, before commoners (like me) will set a hand on one. Pure Supply vs Demand, big dough wins. Happened in '01 and '06.
Dealers will mark-up their allocation as sure as God made li'l green apples. Many wanted to do it on the standard car, but, the market reacted otherwise w/ up to 3K discounts already. They'll not miss this chance, markets be damned, markups should go to the moon. I'll fold long before.
OTOH if by chance a nicely equipted car, like a C6 Z06's 2LZ, could be had at or around $85 large...

It depends on if the car is one you really want. Are you willing to let it sit on a lot, or in someone's garage until the owner realizes that it is not going to sell at his asking price? I was in this exact situation and I was not willing to wait. Someone would have bought my car in a heartbeat.
