It was great while it lasted.....
For the past 24 years I have driven Corvettes as daily drivers - more than 600,000 miles in all and I enjoyed every mile.
Seven months ago I bought a 328 GTB Ferrari to use as my DD so decided to trade the C6 for something else.
Today, after 125,700+ miles in my C6, bought new in September of '06,I traded my '07 for a CTS-V Cadillac with six-speed manual shift.
As I said: It was great while it lasted, 600,000 great miles and the - for me - end of an era .
In bidding farewell to the forum I urge you to drive your Vette. No one ever said on his death bed: "I wish I'd driven the Corvette less."

Never say never... After all those years and miles you have them in you blood never to be taken away. I have owned Vetts for 37 of the past 45 years ...a beautiful car on a nice warm summer day and an offer you can't refuse and your back in the saddle again...best of luck to you.

good luck with your new rides, just wondering why leave now ? especially with the rave reviews on the C7 which could arguably be the best one yet, you owe it to yourself to go out with a C7
your still lovin sports cars (with your new purchases) why not go for a personal record owning another vette.

Can't say it better than above! All I'd add is with your accumulated knowledge, it would be worthwhile for others to read what you have to say from time to time.
Happy driving no matter what you choose to do!

Congrats on the new ride. Don't feel you must depart just because you don't currently have a Vette. Enjoy! (sounds like you do)
