2012 GS
For awhile my wife said she could a noise in the drivers window when it was going up or down. Then it seemed to go away. I was at the car wash yesterday and thought " this window no longer makes noise" This afternoon it made a clunk sound when I closed the door, like when the seat belt gets in the way.
I put the window down and it made noise and is now stuck down. I have a GM extended warrenty but not sure this would be covered.
Might just take it to a local shop tomorrow and pay to have it fixed.
That is just not right for a $60K car with 50,000 miles on it
Then, WADR, read the extended warranty. Why? Because it will not be cheap to get it fixed and/or the regulator replaced. More years than I care to recall I had to have one replaced----on my dime---it was $500+.
So, is it worth your time now? Seeing as how your car is a '12 even WITH 50K miles, I'd take it by your usual Chev dealer and ask them if this is something they might cover. Don't mention what warranty you're talking about, just "cover". Maybe they will as a goodwill gesture. And do it in person, not over the phone or email. It's easier if they can see your "eyeballs."
And don't do it on Mon.; that is their heaviest day for cars coming in for service usually.

Great advice Bill. Sounds like wisdom from experience
50,000 miles on a 2012.you sure drive a lot in your vette.at least your getting you moneys worth out of your car.the problem with a $60,000 car is that they cost a lot to buy and cost a lot to fix.when buying such a exspensive new car you either have to trade it before the warrenty expires,or buy the extended one.it pays either way in the long run.
