Forged internals. .
Hello all,
I'm looking for some feedback and people's opinions. I'm thinking (not sure) of putting some forged internals on my LS7 and would appreciate members feedback and oopinions. Don't want to damage the motor by no means (like everyone) & also, what would I be looking at (cost wise) & what could I expect out of the motor? Hp/Torque gains?

There is not point unless your are going to run a good amount of boost.
And forged internals will take power not add.
The ls7 has a forged steal crank from the factory.... Has titanium rods.. That is all good to well above 800hp.
The pistons are not forged, but forged pistons are heavier then the factory ones and will not make it make more power, just a tougher material.

No point to forge internals on a non-supercharged application, you will see exactly ZERO gain unless of course you increase your compression ratio. You will spend lots of money for no reason.
