My 2005 has been sitting with charger for about a month. The weather finally was good yesterday and I took it for a ride. The outside temp was 45 degrees the inside temp read 22 degrees and never went higher. Any suggestions Thanks

What?!!! There's someting about this in the owner's manual?!!!
If the outside temperature goes up, the displayed temperature will not change until:
• The vehicle’s speed is above 12 mph (19 km/h) for five minutes.
• The vehicle’s speed is above 32 mph (52 km/h) for two and a half minutes.
These delays prevent false readings. If the temperature goes down, the outside temperature will be shown when you start the vehicle. If it
has been turned off for less than three hours, the temperature will be recalled from the previous vehicle operation.
Now why doesn't GM put one of these handy manuals in EVERY car they sell instead of only the ones I buy?
Just an fyi,I had to replace that whole unit under warranty because it failed. The numbers started flashing.Maybe yours went bad and needs replacing or it could be the thing up front on the bumper.
