New (to me) C6
Hi all -- working my way through the generations.
Last weekend I sold the Torch Z (2001 Z06); today I picked up its replacement -- a 2005 6-spd. Z51 coupe in DSOM with 104K miles, but in pretty nice shape.
It still needs a bit of cosmetic work, but runs really well -- Vararam intake, new clutch and brakes; also has SLP Loudmouth II exhaust, but after a 3 hour drive home from the seller's place that has gotta go!!! (I already have a stock setup waiting for installation).
Now pretty much nothing gets done for 6 weeks because I am getting double knee replacement surgery Monday!!! Of course, that just means as the weather starts to clear, I should be getting in gear. I will have a lot to learn, but based on my experiences in the C4 and C5 Forums there will always be someone willing to provide sage advice when I need it (and then there is always the seach function )
Looking forward to a few years of fun with this one -- perhaps we'll see you all on the Caravan, at Corvettes for Chip, or just enjoying the spring in my C6.

Your vette looks great! Pretty nice how the exterior color was brought into the interior through customization. Evidence of the previous owners love for the car.
And you bought a manual transmission when you're about ready to get double knee surgery? That's called faith in a healthy recovery. Now was a great time for you to get a new car, it will give you something to look forward to.
Congratulations, you got a nice car there.

Congrats.
Love the colors but I am kind of partial. I also did my console DSOM as well as my calipers and inside wheel barrels.

Having been through 5 knee surgeries (including 2 ACL rehabs), it is not "faith" but religiously following what the therapists lay out for you that is the key. If I can drive a 6-speed with these beat-up knees, I figure it will be a snap with new ones (once I get through rehab). My son has "volunteered" to exercise the car now and then while I am recovering
Sunset -- yours looks stunning -- I'd love to see pix of the whole car. Mine is more like a 10-footer right now. My goal is to get it down to a 5-footer by the summer. I'm betting I can...

Thanks. Check out my garage for pics of the entire car. Nothing in there on the interior though. Guess I'll have to search for some and post them. Good luck with your surgeries and your DSOM.

That color is getting close to what I call copper that was on my 70 Hemi Cuda; which really is my favor overall color. That being a 2005 and looking the way it does, I will give you: "AND" that's all I have.
