Default Machine Cup Wheel Question

I am thinking about putting the Silver Machine Cup Wheels on my Z06. My question is that I have seen a few varied fews that if my Z does not have the Z07 package, the brake calipers are to small and make the wheels look a little funny. Basically they look better with the ceramics. Do most of you agree, because with new tires and this wheel set up ,it is an extra 5000 thousand. Like to hear some of your thoughts...Thank you in advance!

I don't agree, I have seen multiple with Z06 brakes and cup wheels and it looks great.
I would say if you had the base or Z51 brakes they would look too small.
Go for it.

I think the cup wheels on my 427 are awesome looking and your Z06 would look the same as far as the stock brakes go.

Did Michelins and ZR1 repros (same price as cups) for less than 1/2 of that.

Thanks but not looking for "repros"..... For anyone kind enough to let me know if 5000 grand sounds fair for new Michelin Run Flats plus Brand New Cups plus balancing and alignment. If I am over paying , please let me know. That is what this forum is all about....helping fellow Corvette owners!
Thanks for your advice and experience in advance!

FYI - that $5000 does seem a little high to me. I think a set of Michelin PS2's can be had for around $2100 and the GM Cup wheels or $1500 or so. Check with Nate@CorvetteGarage a forum vendor.
