Default Dead Battery

Heh Guys due to severe cold here I went to start my car in storage and found battery dead.
Is there any way to get into the car, Key fobs do not work and no key locks

Pull the key out of the bottom of the fob. Use it to open the trunk (key hole above license plate). Pull door open handle over the left wheel well. All of this is in the owners manual.

FYI, when you reading the manual, notice that there are door release levers in the car on the floor below the door release buttons to get you back out if the battery does dead as well.

I would be very careful with the dead battery problem. You could damage the ecm. I had that problem and my ecm had to be replaced. Good luck.

Call me weird but every time I get a new car I read the owners manual cover to cover the very first night I have it.

Hi Cookie4803,

Sorry to hear you have a dead battery. These winters can be treacherous on car batteries. In your owners manual, on pages 2-11 thru 2-12 are instructions on unlocking your C6 with having a dead battery. I will copy them below in case you haven't gained access yet. I hope these help!

"From outside the vehicle, use the key in the cylinder
above the license plate to open the hatch then use the
door release tab located on the carpet inside the trunk on
the driver’s side of the vehicle. Pull the tab to unlock and
unlatch the driver’s door. See Keys on page 2-3 for
information on opening the trunk during a loss of power."
