Default What’s the difference?

Can anyone tell me the differences between a 2011 and a 2012 or 2013 GS. Would you rather have a 2012 with 25,000 miles or a 2011 with 10,000 miles assuming they are both in great shape?

12's and 13's have the newer seats and a little different programming in the automatic for quicker shifts.
I think they have an additional in-dash speaker as well.

The seats are probably the most noticable difference.

I'd go for whichever one you like the most

11 with 10K on it wins hands down if they are the same model
That's 2-3 years worth of use for many Vette owners

Plus passenger power seats on the '13 and auto-dimming mirrors with compass. Not sure when they were added, though. The new shift algorithm is great, especially in S. I'd go with the '12 for that alone, but get your best deals and compare. 15,000 miles is a lot.

I don't know the differences but I just bought a 2011 GS 3LT coupe with 12,700 miles and couldn't be any happier.

Thanks for the opinions, both are 6spd. Tha 11 has auto dimming and power passenger seats. Maybe the seat itself but thats about all I can see, not worth the miles difference in my opinion

I'd go for the '12 because of the enhanced seats and better tuned automatic. The difference in mileage doesn't bother me.

Since both are manuals I would go with the 2011 strictly due to lower mileage. I know you said mileage didn't matter to you but you have to look for a tie breaker somewhere. The difference in the seats from 2011 to 2012 were mostly cosmetic. In either seat you would benefit from getting a kit with better foam and leather quality. I have a 2013 GS 4LT and I swapped out my seats for Caravaggio Daytona's. If either of them has the magnetic suspension I would make that the tie breaker and get the one that had it regardless of mileage. The auto passenger seat isn't that big of a deal. I do like the memory feature that retracts both the driver's seat and the steering wheel upon exit. the nav/stereo head unit is mediocre on both and worth swapping out imo.

If both manuals, I'd probably go with the '11 due to much lower mileage. Trumps the nicer '12 interior.
