there pretty stiff at first but they just pop off, there are outward facing clips u gotta just pry them off, then to fully remove turn the plate to allow it to clear the latch.
well thats how it is on the 05-12s if you have a 2012 with the new seat design then it might be different.

I would wait for a warm day. Cold plastic parts like to break. If I remember correctly it took a little effort to pop them out.

Do you think it I should push a thin flat head screwdriver between the leather and the back of the underside of the bezel until I hit the clip or would that damage the leather in the process.

Or would a steady pulling pressure on both sides release the clips?

100%. From what I have heard, about 50% break anyway, but cold is the enemy when un-snapping plastic pieces in the C6.

You can pick up a cheap tool at an auto parts store......typically very thin plastic or metal designed to slide behind the fastener & then gently pry out. As others have mentioned, wait for warm weather & also consider using mild heat (like a hair dryer) to make the parts more flexible.

.... a Hair dryer makes a big difference when working on plastic parts, use it all the time...

I just pulled it from one side to get first tab to pop then the other. Also had spares because I heard so many break.

They push in and the legs snap out, so you push in and pry the leg towards the center. I used a small screwdriver.

Where can we get spares?
Part # ?

And get yourself a set of these things for about 5 bucks. You can find them all over eBay and they are really handy for interior work.
