Default program seat buttons 1 and 2 problem

we just bought a 2006 c6. it only came with key fob number 2. so i set my seat position mirrors ect.... push and hold the number 2 button and all my settings were saved and works great. then i set the seat in mirrors ect.. for my wife and push and held the number 1button . keep in mind i only have key fob number 2 . it beep twice and when i push it the previous owners name appears in the display and the seat moves into the seat position of the previous owner . is there a way to clear this previous owner out and use the number one button on the door without the number one remote. question number 2 i have noticed a delay when shifting the automatic transmission into reverse and then into drive . about 2 seconds . just seems much longer than my toyota solara which goes right into gear . is this normal on this type of car . thanks for all your help .

I was always under the understanding that it was tied to the FOB. If you don't have both FOB's, you can only have the memory set to the FOB you have.
Did you check your owners manual?
