I have one on my'07, but it was on the car when I bouhgt it. I happen to like them. They blend in to the car, so there is nothing that is saying hay look here. The ones above ar $69.00 from RPI Design and they do good paint matching work. As for the price, it is called Corvette Tax.

Well if you're talking about the Top Flight plate mount it's, in my opinion, the best looking, highest quality one on the market, and it's easily removable.
