I have an 05 C6. In the last couple weeks the "Service Active Handeling Sytem" display would come on at start, but not all the time. Yesterday, went to start it the display said "Press Brake to Start" but I was pressing the brake. And while pressing the and trying to start it I would here a few faint clicks from the engine bay. Then later on it did crank but brake lights would come on without brake being pushed and one time it said "service engine" on display but only for a minute. WIERD! Would a weak battery cause crazy stuff like this? Any opinions? Thanks.

Yes, a weak battery would cause those things to happen, especially the clicking. How old is your battery?

The battery is only a year old but I guess that doesn't mean it's good. I guess when I get home today I'll put a good charge on it and see if that changes anything.

While your setting up your charger you might want too check your battery terminal connections, make sure they are tight. Good luck
