I usually eliminate the connector for the air bag and just connect the wires together. solder n heat shrink tubing. if nec. I also add wire to give em more flex. the other harness I make sure it has room to move without stressing wires. simple fix. done a bunch of these.
same holds true for other cars as well with same problems. the zip tie mod doesn't fix anything, most of the time the tiny wires are broken inside the insulation right at the crimp. you cant really see it. just disturbing these wires sometimes makes connection again and then you think its fixed.....but its not. the light comes back on after enter/exit the car or use easy exit function.....bad design.
