OK folks my first C6, I'm looking at a 2009 Blade Sliver 1LT with 48,000 miles for 29,900 or a 2008 Arctic White 1LT with 37,000 miles for 29,900 what do the pros think about the price. Both cars are in excellent condition.

LB.

They're both 1LT so there's no advantage of one over the other. Is it better to go with a year newer model but has more miles, or go with an older version with less miles. Tough choice.

What color do you like better? What color is the interior? Are the wheels the same? ie chrome, silver?

Chrome wheels on both, Sliver have blk interior, White have Red/Blk interior. The Sliver is my first choice but was wondering if the price is in line with the year and mileage. Both are Auto.

Just thought of something else, does either have the dual mode exhaust?

Both sound like OK deals but not real good considering they are 1LT's, keep looking and see if you can find a 3LT with dual mode exhaust.

You will thanks us later

IMO condition and miles are everything. If they are priced right, go for the white one! Silver is too common. Having a lot of options is great, but what do you really need em all for? Most replace the exhaust anyway. As long as you gotta CD, AC your golden. HUD is cool, I have it, but if I never had it in the first place I could live without it. Now, my vettes must have it.

To me it would boil down to what color you like better. The mile difference is not that big of a deal.

I sold my 2009 3LT for 28k(3 weeks ago). It had 41,000 miles on it. I would keep looking around for a better deal or negotiate a better deal on the 2009. Good Luck!!!!

I would try to see if they'd take 28K. 29.9 seems on the high end when ttl is still needed to pay.

Just an FYI..... I sold my 2009 Blade Sliver 1LT (Manual...no options, no chrome), with 23,000 miles for $29,000 about a month ago... It was a GREAT car and I'll always be in love with it!!!

The "base model," narrow body coupe(i.e. very plain looking Vette), looks best in silver (looks awesome in silver actually)

Price is about right, I would go with the Arctic White less miles and better color to add some exterior mods to really make it "POP".

The 11,000 miles difference between the two is not very significant. To get a year newer model for the same $ makes more sense to me.

But, you should choose which one you like better. Whether or not you can negotiate a lower price is up to you. Best wishes with your decision.

I would go for the 2008 arctic white w/Blk/Red...all things being equal.

But I'm partial...

I'd say keep looking, better deals are out there. Bought my '08 3LT, NPP, like new with under 23K miles for $30.5. Agree with going with lower miles and best condition.
