Window Indexing Problem... Up Down Up Down Up Down Nonstop
Hello again forum members. I'm posting on behalf of my father who is having problem with the window indexing function. He owns a 2009 Corvette Z06.
When the passenger window is rolled all the way to the top it begins indexing itself: Up Down Up Down Up Down Up Down and will not stop (of course tried re-indexing multiple times).
The only way to get it to quit is to roll the window to *nearly* the top dead position. I've tried to research the problem but there doesn't seem to be a bunch of info. I'm going to purchase a new window switch per the TSB 08-08-64-001 below (even though I believe this TSB is directed towards the 2008 model year). I just wanted to bring this up so others searching the site for this problem can find it easily.
I'll report back if this solved the problem.

Thats the symptom of a dirty outside door switch/pad. It comes apart easily and can be cleaned with electronic parts cleaner. Do a search for that. There is a diy thread on how to do it. A new one from the dealer is pretty cheap if he wants to go that route.
