I just bought a 2013 GS and need to get my 05 to the dealer Friday for the trade-in, when I un-wrapped it, ALL the TPS sensors said low air pressure. I have the Michelin Pilot Sport AS Plus tires, is it as simple as just inflating the tires a little? I certainly do not want to show up at the dealer with sensors tripping, I traded it in sight unseen and do not want to disappoint them?
I can't wait to share more about my purchase and post some pics, stay tuned!
Thank you! I was thinking that once I hit the road they would heat up and turn off? I f not I will give them a little air?
Here is the new ride, a pic I got off their website!
First off, congrats on the new ride!
If the tires are reading low pressure, no riding around is going to solve that. Add air! The difference is several pounds, and unless you live at the equator (and your garage is air-conditioned), it's not warm enough outside for them to add enough pressure to be really safe.
Have you never added air, before?
They should read 34-36 warm, and if I'm not mistaken its ~ 27 when they start warning you they are low. Most of us start at 30-31 cold, and it gets up there (warmed). Personally, I like mine on the slightly higher side.

I forgot to add, did you even check with a manual gauge? Or are you just taking the word of the TPMS? If all four are reading low, they probably are, but the monitoring system doesn't take the place of checking them physically, especially when filling them up. The system checks them every 30 seconds when traveling, but only every 3 minutes when sitting, which is not sufficient to use when filling.

Yes I have added air before, I have also had TPS sensors reset after a few miles in the winter on my truck this year. I did have to add air once or twice to my truck but for the most part they would reset. The reason I asked is that I have never added air to the vette tires or had the sensors trip until storing it this winter in the garage.

Regardless, just add a little air.

love the smiley and tire air pressure lesson "101" LOL

I have not yet, I have the gauge at my office and will check them tomorrow. They appear to be just fine and assume it will take little if any air when I head out to pick up the new ride.
Congratulations on your new car! You are going to love the changes since 2005. Hope the weather is nice Friday and that you are able to get to sleep tonight.
