Default Splitter without side skirts

I am on the fence. I have a 427 that I have purchased a 427 splitter and side skirts for. The side skirts require drilling in the side of the rockers. Once the skirts are on they would have to be on forever. Does anyone have pics of a 427 with just the zr1 splitter installed. Any opinions on this topic?

Put the skirts on, it looks a lot better with them.

You don't really have to drill, the front and rear use existing screw locations and you can use body molding tape on the sides.
That stuff is strong enough trust me.

Sounds like a great idea...do you know if anyone has used molding tape for side skirts successfuly?

Just as an FYI, here is mine without the side skirts. I hope to add them this summer.

Also, I have a friend with a Z06 that has only used the 3M tape, no screws. You wouldn't know it if he didn't tell you.

427 uses existing screws. I'd rather have peace of mind knowing it's securely attached.

I've got grd affects on my c5, was shying away from them on my 427. The wife saw comparisons and said they were a must have.

Thanks to all.
I am going to install skirts with tape and just a few rivets...as few as possible.
