Anybody bought and installed cf side skirtsand flaps,is there a video somewhere.Surely these side skirts are not to be mounted by drilling into the sides of the rocker panels.
They could possibly be put on with some type of double side tape or adhesive but I drilled the holes and screwed them in. Its wasnt a big deal really. 1/8" drill bit using the pre-drilled holes in the skirts.

You drilled into the side or the bottom of rocker, car is brand new, hate to go drilling hole where next guy may not want them.
yeah, thats what I thought but the flange under rocker is maybe 1/2 inch not much to go with there, was thinking of using a black adhesive caulking product w/ self tapping screws. Thanks for input.
Anybody else buy the skirts and flaps from cf kits and performance.I think I must have gotten my set from the reject rack, not enuff material under rocker to put screws in,flaps are cracking when i try to bend them to fit the wheel openings.Nobody????

If a subsequent owner is worried about seeing the screw holes (if they removed the skirts)....
....they're obviously not in the market for a ZR1 or Z06 with the Z07 package. GM attaches the skirts with rivets.
Also, on most if not all aftermarket kits, there's already double-sided foam tape (like the factory side skirts) in order to keep grit from getting between the side skirt and the body.
Never heard of "cf kits and performance". You get what you paid for generally applies.
I got the flaps only from them. You should not have to do any kind of bending to get them to fit. They are pre-shaped to fit the curve of the wheel well. Mine fit into place perfectly like they came from the factory. I forgot what his name is but let him know whats going on.
c.f its and performance has been bombarding this site like for the last 3 months. They are a "supporting member" how would I know if their stuff was any good until it showed up at my house? Thanks for taking the trouble to post those pics, I just have 2103 G.S no super horsepower stuff..yet! Ordered the fiberglass cause i didn't want to change everything else out to match. Your right on those 3 cars you mention one would expect to find holes if skirts were removed.Really think they grabbed these off the reject rack.My apsis flaps fit perfectly.
