When to replace the TPMS
My C6 is now seven years old. How does one know when it's time to replace the TPMS sensors? I remember reading that the sensor battery is only good for about 6-7 years. When the battery goes dead does the DIC display a "SERVICE TIRES" error message?

Mine were about 6 years old when I replaced them. I was getting XX on the DIC for the RR tire on and off. I got all of them replaced at the same time.
I agree with not08. Dont worry about it until you get weirdness on the DIC.

They are supposed to last 10 years. I will Probably put new ones in when I change tires again.

On the C5, they're quite easy to change the batteries if you're at all mechanical. Anybody know if the 6 is similar?

Easy to change, but the tire has to be removed (or partially so) to do it.

The batteries are not replaceable on C6 sensors.

I think it's probably easier to pull a tigers tooth than replace a TPM battery.
