Default Sun visors

I am the second owner and just notice that the sun shade warning labels both have some sort of sticky film on them. Is there something that is put over the top of the label. Like they removed whatever and the sticky residue was left. Do they make something that covers the label. Don't want to start trying to remove it and ruin the fabric. That is unless someone knows how to remove this clear thin sticky coating. Thanks

I used tape to remove the residual gum. Just place the sticky side of the tape against the residue, press firmly, then remove the tape. It will take a few repeated applications with fresh tape but the residue should come off.
