I know that this may seem like a rather simple, stupid question but being a new Vette (2005) owner, I of course want the best for my pride and joy. Anybody have a recommendation for what you feel is the best blades for the Vette. Bosch seems to get very positive reviews on the Internet. Thanks!
Yes. The sprinklers were on outside of the building that I work in and I needed to clear the windshield. The passenger side blade left a "print" right in front of my eyes.
I got a set from my dealer a few months ago. Cost is reasonable ... about $12 each. And you get the one for the driver's side that has the little wing to hold it flat against the windshield.
I've tried all brands and types, but the type I like best is the one-piece appearing ones like RainX Latitude. Bosh and Michelin make a similar blade and they really work great and last a long time. Cost is $15-$20 each at Wal Mart (depending on brand).
I would have gotten this type for my car, but was at the dealer and he pointed out that I needed new ones so I went ahead and got them there. Hard to believe, but they charged $2.50 each to install them. Takes about 10 seconds. Normally putting them on is free anywhere else, kinda like installing a battery.

Great info thanks! I believe both are 21 in. Is that correct?

not sure where you live so I don't know how much you actually need to use them.
here it does rain occasionally in the "winter" time but that's it.
I got the bosch icons, worked excellent but I did not like the look, too bulky where they attach to the wiper arm.
bought a oem set of ebay for less than $20 shipped, imo look better, drivers side has the wind guide, color matches the arm, work just fine, like I said, just my opinion. ( 10306887 , 10306888 )
the oem rubber inserts only were available too but for about $15 shipped didn't make sense to me.
I am soooo glad you asked that question! I was going to ask it too but feared asking a stupid question. Thanks for opening up the door for me.
Actually, it can be a bit tricky unless you do it every day. But it's easy to do once you get the hang of it ... there are instructions in the package, and even without them you'll eventually figure it out.
