Michelin Pilot Sport Plus ZP VS Pilot Sport A/S 3

I have the A/S 3 and love the tire. But the question could be thrown back at you as to do you require a run-flat or non? If that is not a selling point and you want ride quality and quiet I would say the A/S 3 is a great tire. But, I have never had the ZP to do a side-by-side comparison.

Are the A/S3 available in Corvette sizes? Last time I looked, Michelin said No.
We have both the PS2 ZP runflats and the A/S+ ZP runflats, on two different sets of wheels.
The PS2 ZP were probably the best summer runflats you could buy, until recently when the Super Sport ZP runflats became available on the base C7. Since the Super Sports in base sizes are designed for the base C7, and are somewhat different in construction from the C7 Z51 Super Sports, they might not perform better but they are cheaper and should last longer. All the comparisons in those sizes have involved replacing old worn out tires (PS2, etc) with brand new (SS ZP) tires, and that's not a fair comparison. Stay tuned...
The PS2 ZP are excellent on dry pavement and wet pavement too, smoother and quieter than the original Goodyears. No downsides in summer. People who have owned and used both the runflat and non-runflat version, say the runflats are actually a bit better. But in cold snowy weather, they are awful; just like most summer tires.
The A/S+ are good enough in summer that some folks use them as a year-around touring tire. You give up some dry traction and even a bit of wet traction (compared to the PS2) but pay less money and get longer life. They also work much better in cold/dry weather, and are ok in a couple of inches of snow.

I have the A/S 3 on my 2013 Base C6 Coupe. They are available in the base sizes. You may have been questioning the GS/ZR1 sizes, which are not available.

When we switched from the Supercars to the Michelin AS+ runflats, there was indeed a decrease in cornering grip in warm weather. There was also a decrease in noise, harshness, sudden breakaway, and white knuckles in cold weather.
When we bought a set of the Michelin PS2 runflats; we got back all the grip and maybe more, and kept all the other advantages of the A/S except the actual cold weather performance.
