Battery drain solved.
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
I 'd a dying battery problem with my '80 C3 L-48 years ago.
Couldn't figure it out UNTIL I parked it, at night.
Saw the vanity mirror light was still illuminated, problem identifies, pure luck on my part.
The switch for a vanity lamp on an '80 have a small white plastic post.
When cover's closed it's supposed to depress the post which turns switch off.
Over time the switch post had recessed until it could never be depressed, ergo it was always 'on'.
The fix was simple, elevate the switch so it'd either be in depressed (off) or not (on) when cover was lifted as designed.
Cheap design, but good to know when dead batteries become frequent occurrence. Had it not been night time it'd have been a stinker locating issue.

20 minutes isn't going to kill a good battery that is properly charged. The OP's issue will return.

.... very good !
