I currently have 18"x9.5 and 19"x12 grand sport rims on the car. Im looking to get a taller tire for the drag strip and want to drop to a 17" rim while stil having matching rims on my car
not an expert so explain please.......why would you want to go narrower on the rear....I understand the taller.....but losing the extra 3" of tire out back doesn't make sense to me if you are looking for the most grip.....maybe no one makes the right size Drag Radial?

Yea, That is the best rim/wheel combo i could find. And from my experience, Tire width has ZERO to do with traction. Just my experience...
