Does anyone know what material the c6 exhaust pipes are made of? Im retrofitting a Z06 muffler on my C6. I did a search and found many conflicting answers. I did a test weld on the Z06 pipes and they went together nice, but i cant get the muffler/pipe to get me a smooth ark. thanx in advance.

I "think" (not sure) all or some of the pipe is a low grade stainless that is aluminized.
