Love Bugs are Here
We Southern Corvette Owners were kind of sorry/smug when the Corvette owners from farther North were snowed in and could not drive. Now the shoe is on the other foot and you can feel sorry/smug about us and our almost daily acidic love bug removal process over the next few weeks,

Not bad in Pinellas County (Tampa Bay area), but I will take the Love Bugs any day of the week compared to having to store my car for 6 months. Loves bugs do come off so you can drive even during the Love Bug season.

Time to store the Vette for a couple of weeks. Those bugs are probably the only thing I really hate to drive in and we have a trip planned next week to South Florida.

Have to say in the Ft Lauderdale area we haven't experience any of those nasty bugs.This week heading to Sarasota for the car show, and no in the morning the bugs are sleeping, so we ride early, and return Sunday early while they are sleeping.

Worst I ever got them was from Arcadia to West Palm Beach in a flat nosed motor home and they were a solid blanket about a quarter inch deep when we got there and the live ones that were still hung up still moved.
