Having positive toe on one side and negative on the other (which looks like this \\ or //) only means that the steering wheel isn't straight. On the rear the same condition is thrust angle.

100%. The reason I mentioned it was because the straightness of the wheel was one of his compllaints. If the car is drifting slightly to the left then it can't be blamed on the crown of the road since that causes drift to the right.
