So after reading a few threads about how nearly impossible it is to wrap a center console, I'm interested in getting it hydrocoated. Just want something to liven up the plain silver. Has anyone got it done to theirs? How much did you pay? Anybody know of good spots in Houston to have it done?
Wrap with 3M carbon fiber. Read it's near impossible, so possibly going with hydrodipping. Not trying to spend over $400 though! Wanting to DIY= cheap! ;-)
I sent my parts to TKO (forum vendor). Ed was a pleasure to work with, and it came out awesome. Looks just like new after 6 years.

Have done the steering wheel, glove box latch and console base since this photo.
That looks great! Might have to check him out. And yea, I meant center stack, not console. Realized that after I posted, but I basically avoid the computer on weekends and was too lazy to fix it on my phone haha

Could you take another photo? I would like to see this with everything else.
I had mine done by American Hydrocarbon. I got the radio bezel, gauge bezel, passengers A/C vent (so it matched the drivers side)door buttons and the window controls. Here are a few pictures.
