Putting on a set 5 per wheel Gorilla Wheel Lock Lugs. I feel as long as I do one lug at a time there is no need to take the load (jack up) the car? Do you agree. Kind of a silly question but I have no first had knowledge.

One at a time is fine. I would retorque all when finished.
Also don't worry about losing the key. Every tire shop has the $20 set of sockets to remove then in seconds. Having watched my tire shop remove them from a car where the owner lost the key it appears they can be taken off faster without the key although obviously that destroys the lock.

I guess I should put one on each wheel, have been thinking about it for a while. Makes me wonder though hearing that " Every tire shop has the $20 set of sockets to remove then in seconds", how much safer they will be. But I guess it will slow down and keep the inexperienced criminals away or at least seeing them, they will go elsewhere to an easier target. Seems like a good idea. Assume the Gorilla Locks are the best?? Thanks
Your wheels will still be a lot safer with one wheel lock on each wheel rather than nothing all 5 is overkill, though it may be true that every tire store has the tool to get these off , not every thief has one, I think it will slow down or deter a lot of thieves from a crime of opportunity, it probably wont stop a pro, in the same thought im sure every locksmith has the tools to get into most houses, but the average person doesn't.
Locks are a step in theft deterrent. It will deter the casual thief but not the pro. The pro will have your car up on cinder blocks with wheels gone in less than a few min, wheel locks or not. Nothing is 100% protected from theft.
One at a time is cool no need to jack up...5 per wheel? One per wheel does the trick..If theives want your wheels bad enough they will get them!!
If the thieves have the ability to get one lug off, they can get the rest off. But if piece of mind is what you are after, thinking that the extra time needed to get the locks off would allow you to catch them, then go ahead. But I think locks are to prevent opportunists, not the prepared. It wouldn't be that hard to pick up keys for the most common set of wheel locks.

pros wont steal your wheels theyll just tow the whole car away with the alarm blaring.
You could probably get away with doing it one at a time and checking the torque but with the wide footprint and issues that can develop with vibration and wheel shake, I would jack up the car and do all 5 per wheel at one time setting the torque in steps. I center the wheel on the hub, and run them down hand tight to even things up and then torque all 5 to 60# then to 80# and then finally 100#. I went with the Gorilla set as well since I wanted to replace the crappy tin covered factory lug nuts. The thieves are gonna get them if they want but I wanted solid chrome lug nuts anyway so elected for the locking set since they are nice and reasonably priced. The other thing I did which is probably overkill is I took the appropriate size socket that fits the wheel lock key and welded it to the key. I then wrapped some "gaffers' tape around a couple times to add a little protection. Spraying on some Plastic Dip would do the same thing. This equates to less pieces to handle and reduces the chance of something slipping out of your hand it nicking a wheel. It also makes it easier to run the lug nuts down by hand. I take my wheels off twice a year to Rejex the barrels so there is a fair amount of handling going on.
