Default C6 Full Width Spoiler

My car came with the standard small GS spoiler and I wanted to upgrade to the full width spoiler, but I didn't know where to buy one or how they came (painted or primed). Thanks to the forum and GM Parts House I got my answers and ordered my spoiler painted to match my car from GM Parts House.

The spoiler arrived packed well for protection and it had some directions and a template to show where to drill the 4 holes to mount the spoiler. The installation wasn't too bad, but drilling 4 holes in my car did put a tear in my eyes!

The instructions were pretty straight forward and after you remove the 4 tail lights (1 screw for each light and then unplug the wires) you get good access to the original spoiler for removal and once you drill the holes per the template you're ready to install the pre-painted full width spoiler.

I'm very pleased with the new look of my car and i'd like to thank Gene at GM Parts House for providing a top notch upgrade ready to install. I'm including a before and after photo of my car with the 2 different spoilers.

Before:

After with Eagle Eye Tail Lights installed also:

Bravo ! You did it. I know when I bought my 2011 GS, that short black stock spoiler stood out like a turd in a punchbowl. I'm pleased with mine also.
