I just did my 2011 last week and what I recall is, put the car in acc mode, hold down the top control on the left side of the wheel for a few seconds and follow the voice. It will tell you to put the phone in search mode, it will give you a code number to enter in your phone and ask for a nick name for that phone. Just follow the voice and good luck. I had to do it a few times to get it right.

Yeah took me a couple of tries to, But I would suggest putting the phone in search mode before holding the top button (Answer button) on the steering.

I've tried it several times to no avail. When the prompt comes on I say Bluetooth, but for some reason it doesn't recognize it. Every other word I say the car recognizes it, the only word it doesn't seem to recognize is the word Bluetooth. Do you know if there is any other way to do it, like from the radio itself, or is the voice prompt the only way?

Thanks, for some reason it doesn't recognize the word Bluetooth when I say it.

if saying "Bluetooth" does not work try saying "Pair"

Pairing a Phone
1. Press and hold b / g for
two seconds.
2. Say “Bluetooth.” This command
can be skipped.
3. Say “Pair.” The system responds
with instructions and a four‐digit
Personal Identification Number
(PIN). The PIN is used in Step 5.
4. Start the pairing process on the
cell phone that you want to pair.
For help with this process, see
the cell phone manufacturer's
user guide.
5. Locate the device named “Your
Vehicle” in the list on the cell
phone. Follow the instructions
on the cell phone to enter the
PIN that was provided in Step 3.
After the PIN is successfully
entered, the system prompts you
to provide a name for the paired
cell phone. This name will be
used to indicate which phones
are paired and connected to the
vehicle. The system responds
with “<phone name> has been
successfully paired” after the
pairing process is complete.
6. Repeat Steps 1 through 5 to pair
additional phones.

Still no luck with pairing my phone... I've tried just about everything.. anything dealing with the word bluetooth or pairing is not recognized.. I can place a call and can talk to on-star perfectly fine.. is there any manual way of connecting straight from the radio or is it strictly from the voice command?

it's in your manual somewhere. It's a little weird and overly complicated with the vette system for some reason and I had to read the book to figure it out.Unless you have an old phone that isn't compatible or your bluetooth isn't . on..nothing is easy with the GM system and don't look for streaming either because it doesn't exist..

I think it might be your phone what kind do you have? Just redone mine last week after the Apple I Phone 8.0 upgrade and it took a couple try's.

Should be pretty straight forward. Say "pair phone" with your phone in the "settings with bluetooth on". All my new vehicles are done in 15 seconds. Some of the older vehicles are difficult.
