neep help please

Well getting my vette 06 ready for a road trip, so took it out for a drive and i hear this squealing noise, sounds like its coming from the back but not 100 percent sure...once it warmed up it went away..i let it cool down and the squeal is back any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated

Might want to look at your harmonic balancer and see if its wobbling.

No squealing when stationary..does squeal when the car is cold..has been raining everyday here...dont know if that means anything.

Does it sound like a belt? Could be your serpentine or the AC belt.

To me it sounds like when your brake pads are going out...but squeals when i dont have the brake engaged..

Sounds like left rear area...does sound like a metal to metal squeal..

Seems to get better when i turn the wheel back and forth...and goes away when the car warms up

Sounds like a squealing brake pad. Try reseating your pads with a series of hard stops (8 or 10) from about 60 to 20 without stopping completely and then driving for about 20 minutes at normal speed to cool them off. Don't stop completely after they are hot. Let them cool before stopping.
