I found a Power Acoustik PTID-6250 used pretty good price. Anyone know if it will fit? and if it will what all would I need to install it? Don't know toooo much about auto electronics. Installed the radio in my truck but it was easy all I had to get was a walmart bezel lol.
Any standard double din will fit. You'll need an antenna adapter and harness to plug in to the factory harness. Check the audio forum and look for Dennis at Double-D mods. He can fix you up.

I would stay away from that radio myself. I can sell them to you if you really must have one. The quality is not that great.
Call me if you like and I can help you

I was thinking the same thing but since I've never actually owned one I didn't want to say it.
I choose a Kenwood DNX9990HD, which I bought from Dennis. We disagree over the harness. (I now have On Star for whatever that's worth). But Dennis has been supporting me almost two years after the sale.
As an FYI I choose Kenwood because the NAV is Garmin. The downside is that the Kenwood's processor is s l o w. But, Dennis tells me there is a new one that is, hopefully, faster. I feel confident that Dennis will know!
thank you. any recommendations for a somewhat lower priced double din? just bought the car then instantly bought a 750$ carport which got installed today and i'm absolutely disappointed. it's so freaking flimsy... Or could i hook up something in the factory base radio where I can plug my phone up too it?
what kind of price range do you want to be at?
Nav or no Nav?
What phone do you use?
I can reply back with what Io recommend for you
Dennis
hopefully under 250$
no nav
Samsung galaxy s2
would really prefer to just have a way to hook up my phone to factory radio rather than get a whole new one
You can install your own aux jack input for the radio. There are several ways to do it. Do a search and you will find lots of info.
I have never spoken with Dennis or done business with him, but you will not find anyone anywhere with a better reputation for product knowledge and customer service.
