Again... It will not work on a C5 as there are other systems that use the same fuse. On the C6 the CAGS is on it's own isolated fuse.
However last time I cheched Compliance Parts makes a C5 skip-shift eliminator that doesn't install at the trans solenoid, but rather near the underhood fuse block. It also eliminates the dash light. You don't have to crawl under the car and it costs about $25.
