Try laying a soaking wet microfiber towel over the bugs for a while. That should soften them up enough that when you wash your car they will slide off.
Glad you enjoyed your road trip. Corvettes are great road trip cars.

I use this on the front end all the time and mirror covers...I found it when I bought one of those aftermarket high end replacement windshield for my bike. It works fantastic and every time you use it, it leaves a layer behind that makes it even easier the next time you have to remove the bugs.

Incredible!

Spray it with some detail spray, let it soak for a minute or so then just wipe off with a micro fiber towel.

There my neck feels better already...whew!

Before I leave for any drive where I can expect lottsa bugs, I spray the front of the car with a coat of Meguiar's Polymer Qwik Wax.

Takes just a few minutes to spray on and gently wipe.

After that, bugs just slide off like the paint like it was Teflon.

Sounds like a great trip. Soak the bugs to soften them up.

You're welcome!

I rotated them 90 degs., cropped and sharpened them, then brightened them a little, with Paint Shop Pro, then uploaded them the same way you did.
