Blinking climate controls
I drove to work this morning with my climate controlls blinking the whole time. The car ran normally and I couldn't find anything in the manual on what it means. Does anyone have any idea what the car is trying to gell me? Thank, Scott

I have restarted mine a couple times thinking it might have been something with me leaving the fob in it over night (while in the garage) but it is still blinking.

Blinking usually means the HU is dying. It may continue to work for days, weeks or months but it will eventually quit completely.....often at the very worst time for you. Assuming it's still under warranty, it's best to get it to the dealer WHILE it's blinking so they can verify it. Many dealers won't replace it if it isn't blinking when they see it.

The same thing happened to my 09 Z06. It was intermittent for a while but then more often. Dealer replaced head unit which fixed the problem.
Take a short video with your camera/phone if you want to prove the problem.

This is probably a dumb question but what does the HU control? I have to take the car to the dealer for inspection in September and really don't want to have to go in before that as I have to drop it off and get a rental.. Real PITA. If the HU finally goes, what does my car lose? Is it undriveable?
