Rookie move? No way. Standard Operating Procedure for many of us!

i've had my 013 since 01/13 and i do the same thing. and i'm sure a lot of other forum members do it also. just because we don't have any place important to go doesn't mean we can't drive em.

I drive the Corvette when I'm here, but I also log as many miles in my Town Car that is used When I need to carry several people or need a truck (the trunk serves as my truck). My wife loves convertibles and doesn't like shifting so she drives a POS Chrysler Sebring. She likes it, but what a boring car! Then there is the BMW that i can't explain.

We have three vehicles, I drive the Vette on nice days. If that equates to everyday of the week, then that's cool.

I bought a 10 Avalanche LTZ for my wife.

My rainy day ( Mountain biking ) car is an 04 mazda 6 sport wagon, still only has 38k on it.

I spend a lot of time in rental cars, I am driving a (right hand drive )14 ford fiesta Eco boost right now. 1 liter 3 cylinder, turbo. I have been driving it for over a week which started off with a 1-1/2 hour drive and still have over a half a tank.

I have a company provided Silverado for a DD and my wife has a '12 Silverado. I put 6,000 miles on my '09 coupe in two years. Just picked up a 2013 427 convertible last week and I plan to put more miles on it than I did the coupe 'cause driving this thing is the most fun that can be had with your clothes on!

My DD is a Prius, no joke. I drive around 50k miles a year and I am a 1099 employee. The cheaper I drive every mile, the more money in my pocket. My last Prius had 267K miles on it with zero issues before it was totaled. New one is at 170k without issue.

I also have a Yamaha Warrior motorcycle. My wife has a 2015 Volvo S60 T6 on order.

I take the bus to work... so, all the vehicles are recreational. For errands I use a 99 Chrysler 300M, Truck for sport of flying and work around home. Vette is all fun and enjoyment.

Car #1 and 2, if too hot or cold for rag top we go with the coupe;

If it's wet or storming we take the Chrysler 300S

+1...not a HD but Victory Vision...since the Vette got a SC installed this spring guess what I have only ridden once so far this year? In WI and snow for too many freakin months the Vette gets used like my bike did. I'm waiting for the novelty to wear off of the Vette to use my bike more...any idea when that happens?

Live in Australia C3 78 Corvette is our 3rd car for weekend drives
Our daily drives are 2 Holden Commodore SV6s
Coming to London Ontario 30 June for 5 weeks and would like to pick up a few parts such as water pump, hand brake parts while we are there

Is there a good C3 parts dealer in south western Ontario we should go to for parts, apparel etc

Same here...the '07 Corvette is NEVER driven in rain, why should I when the Toyota is ready to go. If bad weather is in the forecast, the driving order is
1) Toyota Camry
2) 2014 Caddy ATS
3) cancel the trip until the sun is out
4) 2007 Corvette

I've got 4 personal vehicles plus business vehicles. Not a chance in h@ll I'd ever have a Corvette as a only or DD. Totally impractical.

Vette gets driven to the gym and some shifts to work. I only work 10 shifts a month. So since I bought it, I've driven 3000 miles since January. Not driven in rain. Truck is fun too drive too. It has the better system too. Vette stereo sucks. Hardly gets turned on.

I bought the Vette as my 3rd but I just can't put it down so it really is my DD and the other cars usually just sit.

Our Vette and GMC Sierra share DD duties for my wife. I have a take home car from work. The only true toy is the Harley (FLHTCU).
