i think i screwed up my car. i wasnt paying attention and when i "seafoamed" my 09 z51 coupe the other day i accidentally poured the seafoam into the actual booster instead of the booster vacuum hose.....
well today when i went to drive the car i get a check engine light and the pedal is mushy, the car acts as if it has no power brakes, and i hear a loud vacuum suction sound when i depress the brake pedal from inside the car..... did i blow up my booster????
and how difficult is this to repair? i see it offered on parts taxi with or without "performance package." is this a reference to the z51 option?
It's a total PITA, but it can be done. You have to remove quite a bit of crap from under the dash. I've done it on both a c5 and c6.

You do know there was absolutely no reason to add seafoam to your engine, right?
apparently its a $30 difference. but i cant determine if "performance" refers to zr1 or z51. other parts catologues dont differentiate.
The $30.00 is the difference. GM knows that 'Vette owners always buy the best and that the best is always more expensive. $30.00 more profit just by marking it up.
