Default Hidden damage

Please help
My 2010 coupe was rear ended yesterday at a very low speed. I got off looked all around including underneath and I do not even see a scratch. The only think I saw was the back up right light was out of place and I snapped it back in place
Should I be concerned?
Can there be any hidden damage to the back of the C6?
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated
Thanks

Only one way to tell, get it up on a lift to do a through inspection.

Yes put in on a lift.
Look for suspension and rear cross member movement.
The bumper reinforcement may be damage...so you remove the bumper cover to inspect what is behind it.
Also remove the rear cargo carpet and trim to inspect the structure there too.
Check the door, truck lid gaps.

Define low speed...if the paint did not crack you may be lucky and have zero damage especially if you hit just the one reverse light in a very low area.

Good luck

I would assume the Corvette would be like most vehicles and have bumper energy absorbers which are a one time thing.

Since you were rear ended, you should contact the other guy's insurance and have it inspected. Even if nothing seems amiss, initially, it may show up in the (not distant) future, and if you do nothing now, you may be SOL. Advise your own insurance that you are doing this with all the pertinent info, as well.

Very low speed.....odds are you are fine. I'd jack it up and take a look for piece of mind. As for contacting their insurance and formal inspection, I would only do that if something was amiss when you inspect it yourself. It is called a bumper for a reason, if the paint is fine, odds are everything else is as well. Happy fourth!

I would do nothing as it sounds like all is good and you were lucky. But if you want for piece of mind take it a body shop have them inspect it for you will only cost you a few bucks and than you are 100 percent sure.

I would have it inspected by a body shop. I got rear ended in a previous car. To my eye, there was no damage. Upon advice of a friend, I took the car to a body shop, and they found about $1,600 worth of hidden damage.

Estimates are usually free.

I was standing still at a red light . I think the guy behind me just took the foot off the brake. I have looked at the gaps and see nothing
There was zero scratches
