So last winter I installed an aftermarket radio, at the same time I cannot seem to get my c6 z06 to program keyfobs. It used to work but not since the aftermarket radio. Well I lost my keys andneed to program fobs. I have a PAC 02C bose harness and kenwood headunit, which I just removed and installed my OEM radio back in the car. I still cannot get this thing to program mode, nothing comes up on the dic. Idk what I am doing wrong. I have done this before and now its back to stock a d cannot figure it out. I am using the procedures that I see on here, they all seem pretty standarx. I have a 2006 corvette c6.
If you have read and tried all the tips and tricks in the programming instruction thread, http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...tructions.html
and still can't get it into the programming mode, then the dealer is the last resort. They will use the GM proprietary TECH II computer to force program the fobs to the car. Unless they repair the system though, this will still not allow you to program fobs by yourself.
I just tried everything, can't get it into program mode. I tore the who dash apart and put my factory radio back in to. Nothing. I am gonna have to visit dealer, hopefully they can program it but I am worried something is wrong with the module in the car. My PAC 02c Bose has a warning statement to pull the fuse before programming and I didn't know this until I started researching, I think it fried the module from learning.
