I'm likely picking up my Vette later today (more details & pics to come later). It will be delivered with a full tank of gas, but I don't know where they filled it up.
I want to throw a proactive bottle of Techron in the tank (hey, let's start this relationship out on a good foot...right?). However, when I've used it in the past, it's said to pour the bottle into a nearly empty tank and then fill it up. Would there be any reason that I shouldn't add it to a full tank?
unless the car has been sitting for 6 months don't worry. Go and enjoy a nice LONG drive with your honey, you will get a chance to refuel your ride in a few hundred miles
Thanks for the feedback. I'll hold off until 1/2 tank and treat it then. By the way...never thought I'd have permagrin just sitting in the showroom filling out docs. Haven't stored a car in my garage in 5 yrs, but spent the afternoon clearing space for my new baby!!!
