The other night I was driving had the Ac on and it began blowing warm so I turned it off looked down at my temp gauge and it was at 230-240 which isn't normal it never goes over 220 so I got on the highway and the more I accelerated the more the temp went up it went too about 250 then I shut the car off til it cooled down then I drove it home I changed the thermostat and now it's overheating in 10 min or less any ideas on what it can be?

After the stat change, you may have air in the system, or it was a poor quality stat. Check closely for leaks in the radiator as well gently flush with low pressure water the cooling fins on the radiator. They can become quite dirty with build up.
I just had the radiator on my 05 replaced due to a leak I found. The temps were running between 200 and 230 routinely. Now they are 10 to 25 degrees cooler.
Fans are working and I bled the coolant system today and it's running at about 235 on the highway and 228-230 on the street but if I drive it hard the temp rises I slowed down once it got too 240 any ideas? Seems too run cooler on the street than highway
Wow, this is a tough one. I might try running with no T-stat in it so you can rule that out or not. If it overheats with no tstat then I'd think there was a blockage somewhere in the system.
