2007 Passenger Door Issue.

I am having an issue with my passenger door. When you close the door the window is hitting the weatherstripping located closest to the "A" pillar. The window roll up/down feature when opening/closing the door does work.
I have also noticed that is doesnt have the same solid "thud" sound that I get when closing the drivers door. I have looked around the door to see if its hitting anywhere (i.e. paint rub spots) but I could not find anything.
I think at this point its not striking directly on the latch but instead hitting it and either dropping or lifting the door into the latched position. When opening the door I do feel a slight resistance when the door is about a third of the way open. It just happens for a slight second.
Not sure if anyone has ever experienced this issue? Im half tempted to take it to the dealer but I wanted to see if there is an easy fix first.
