Default LH mirror question

Due to some idiot (me), I have had to recently replace my LH mirror on the car. Luckily, I was able to find one on ebay that was in good shape. I didn't need the housing, just the glass, but the housing, with everything, is cheaper than just the glass new. When I went to install it last night, I noticed there are 3 plugs on it. The first, a single wire, is the XM satellite...I believe. The second, a plug with 6 or 8 lead wires. Then the third, a smaller plug with 4 lead wires. I had no real issues with the XM and the 6 - 8 wire plug. However, I did not see any place to plug the 4 lead wire in. The mirror that came off the car had this plug as well, but the 4 lead wire was taped up. Does anyone know what this is for? Is it for the memory settings? My car is a 2009 2LT. Here is a picture of the mirror for reference. Thanks for any help on this.

I am thinking that your replacement mirror is off a 3LT car where the driver's side mirror is autodim.

I have the heated mirrors as well. I checked to make sure the auto dim feature was working when I installed the mirror yesterday; it was.

I think you're correct in your assessment that the additional plug is part of the memory package that comes as part of the 3LT option.

Correct. The unused 4 wire conector is the position feedback to the DDM for memory positioning.
