Roughly one year ago I decided to go with a set of HRE wheels at a local speed shop. In addition to the new wheels and tires, they also lowered my car on the stock bolts, which finished the look nicely, but I feel like the car is lower now than last summer! Is it possible the car is dropping gradually over time or is it my imagination? Has anyone else observed this occuring on their lowered corvettes?
Yes, it seems they all do, my father 2005 did and my 2009 with 18k on it has. I used to be able to put a jack under it with pucks to lift it, now I have to pull up a little on the fenders to get the jack under there.

Check the lowering bolts and make.sure they are not loose other than that I don't see how your car could slowly be sinking.

Same here. 2008 Coupe. Quite surprised when my jack would no longer go under it. It's gotta be springs weakening and/or reduced gas pressure in the shocks. Tire wear, maybe. Yeah, ride height bolt pads could have issues too. A combination of all the above?
I really can't see your ride hight changing from worn springs, worn shocks, etc, I guess it could over a 10 year period or so but you would be talking tenths of a inch. My 08 has not change at all since I purchased it New.

.08 with 50k is still at lowered height with no change. Check your bolts.
I believe I've seen a few threads on this over the last couple of years. IIRC, some had a "settling" period and a readjustment of the ride height after the initial lowering.
